Being India's only digital music awards and independent music honour, it is truly the country's foremost awards for upcoming talents as well as established artists. The idea behind this unique digital music awards is to felicitate the best of independent artists and music released by Artist Aloud. The awards came into inception in 2010 as a consumer voting led activity to encourage global music talents while involving music lovers and getting them to vote for their favourite artists. Fans can vote for their favourite artists across different genres like Pop, Rock, Fusion and Global music. The awards will have 4 categories like Best Song, Best Male, Best Female & Best Group in the Public voting section and 8 categories like Best Album, Best Video, Best Lyricist, Best Composer, Best Genre, Best language, Best Sound & Best Live Performer in Jury voting section.
